Noah Sizzles on the Runway, Alec & Lyka Caught Naked

Tonight was Lyka’s fashion show and from the PEx forum, it seemed that everyone, including I, was very excited for tonight’s episode of Lobo.

In the beginning of the show, we finally get our answers through a flash back as to why Silva wants the huling bantay’s power so much: so that the people – the waya – that killed Silva’s father, Alfredo, will pay for what they did. Yun pala, his father was a black lobo and the scene doesn’t explain if whether Silva was already a lobo (a white one) or just had a father that became a black lobo. Nonetheless, as Silva lunges to protect his father, Alfredo accidentally bites him and it is in this same moment we see how Silva became a black lobo. Note: As I was writing this, I suddenly realized that the writers probably plopped this little tidbit into the story recently because as the flashback scene was going on, the young Eleanora (Sheryl Cruz), doesn’t even show her face. Kasi, if this was part of the story long before, then they would’ve done all the young Eleanora scenes with Sheryl Cruz beforehand. Sneaky! Honestly, I’m not disappointed. This was a good twist and a good reason as to why Silva would want to go against the white lobo.

Meanwhile, back in Lyka’s world, Lyka and Alec are practicing for the fashion show until Alec steams up the moment by kissing her on stage! Obviously, Papa P sees this and leaves while Lyka gives Alec a proper beating on the face. Alec heads backstage where Noah, in a very pussy way (no offense), pushes Alec to the floor. Since Noah’s a soldier, I was expecting a blow to Alec’s face, not a wimpy push! lol It reminded me of little Kindergarten boys pushing each other. hah It’s okay Noah, I still love you! Anyways, as Noah and Lyka leave the area, Trixie confronts Alec and accuses him of being in love with Lyka. Youch! In front of everybody too! Alec doesn’t say a word and just storms off. Poor guy.

Moving to the night of the fashion show, everyone is dressed and ready, and this includes Silva, Anton, as well as the black waya (who was told to buzz off by Nessa after she senses him). In a nutshell, as the fashion show is underway, Leon quietly leaves and Manolo, with Lady Elle, follows in tow. The three secretly hold the first of their meetings as the sly Silva listens behind the window. Jeez, you’d think that Lady Elle would sense someone watching! lol She was probably caught in the moment. Nonetheless, as Alec was on stage with Lyka, he was the one that actually sensed Silva and immediately leaves. So who is to take Alec’s place? NOAH OF COURSE! With the help of a little push from Sir Elton, Noah, clad in an army-camouflage speedo struts the runway with Lyka (Papa P’s body is ripped!). Yep, you guessed it — tonight’s episode basically consisted of eye candy and more eye candy. lol At least it’s evident that Angel Locsin’s Maxim May 2008 cover wasn’t photoshopped too much. Because, from my POV, the Angel Locsin that strutted her stuff on the runway tonight looked amazing! She kind of inspires me to start working out again. hah

Meanwhile, Alec finds Silva and the two transform into lobo form and fight. (Coming back to reality for a moment, I feel kind of bad for these dogs! Hopefully PETA doesn’t see this). Also, the fashion show is finally over and the “peace” talks have ended. Leon and Lady Elle agree to have their next meeting to consist of the waya as well as Leon’s Luna agents. However, while backstage, Lyka senses that there’s something wrong with Alec and in the next scene we see another white lobo – Lyka – run to the place where Alec and Silva are fighting. Like a scared little wimp (probably sensing that he was outnumbered in strength), Silva leaves limping and sees Anton. Anton thinks that this is the lobo that’s been giving him the answers to the formula for the cure. This will probably cause even more problems for the poor guy since Silva’s going to use him like he used Dr. Lee.

Outside the fashion show, Noah sees his father safe and sound as he’s being hounded by the media due to his recent runway model success, and gets a text message from Leon saying that he has to leave. Noah then takes Zoey with him to find Lyka. Now this is the part where I was almost shouting at the TV: Inside what looks to be like one of House of Elle’s sample fitting rooms, Lyka and Alec transforms back into human form. Obviously, they’re stark naked and right at the moment where they’re busily trying to put their clothes back on, looking all sweaty and hyperventilated, ZOEY comes in and sees them. [insert OMG]

In the Abangan scenes, Zoey (who I was really starting to like until now, but I don’t blame her), now back home with Noah, openly accuses Lyka’s (dumb) reason of changing clothes with Alec to be a lie and Noah just gives Lyka a look of sadness in his eyes. In addition, we see Leon calling one of his people about the “peace” talks with the lobo. Here, we see Silva spying on the Ortega house and walks towards it. I’m really hoping the writers won’t kill Leon — he’s so vital to the show! However, if the show is going to lead up to the night where Noah shoots the white lobo — Lyka — something drastic has to occur for Noah to go back to the Luna, and this may be it. Yep, sucks big time.
